Battlefield Earth - Music by L. Ron Hubbard

Music by L. Ron Hubbard???

This is "The Dynamic Music Soundtrack of the Book" from 1984. Even with help from his Scientology buddies Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, Gayle Moran, Nicky Hopkins and the Golden Era Musicians this is cheese extraordinaire. The arrangements, using the Computer Musical Instrument (CMI) sound like they were done on grandma's Wurlitzer with sound effects from from a tape received by sending in the boxtops from sugar laden cereal boxes...

but... you're still tempted to download it... aren't you?

LOL. Man, I had this tape a long time ago. At the time I had no idea who L. Ron Hubbard was, but I thought the cover looked cool, so I bought it. I remember it being really cheesy. Can't wait to hear it again!

Why do we love cheesy & horrible things??

Just a rhetorical question, no need to answer… but you can talk amongst yourselves…
